This suffix allows you to admit something by adding an opposition or a different fact after it.

Indicates that something is admitted with an opposition (-but, although-)

• ▸ 비싸지만 맛있어요.

  It is delicious but it is expensive.

• ▸ 겨울이 춥지만 여름이 더워요.

  Winter is cold, but summer is hot.

• ▸ 시간은 있지만 할 일이 없어요.

  I have time, but I have nothing to do.
