Last updated: May 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Langasia's website, mobile applications, and related language-learning services. By creating an account or using Langasia, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Service

Langasia provides online tools to learn Japanese and Korean, including lessons, phrasebooks, dictionaries, progress tracking, and gamification features. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Langasia, including by attempting to disrupt the service, scrape content at scale without permission, reverse engineer the apps except where permitted by law, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription processed through our website. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout and in your account billing area. Mobile app purchases, if offered in the future, will follow applicable store rules.

5. Content and intellectual property

Langasia content, branding, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service for your own learning. Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

6. User content

If you upload a profile photo or submit other content, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant Langasia the rights needed to display and store it for service operation.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users.

8. Disclaimers

Langasia is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Language-learning outcomes depend on your effort and use of the materials.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Langasia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use the free tier.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated through the website or app.
